Story

The Whatcom Environmental Council ("WEC") formed in 2024 to stay abreast of current environmental issues, advocate for progressive environmental policies and engage in the education of decision makers and the public regarding environmental issues in Whatcom County.

The WEC Board is a group of predominantly retired, progressive individuals who were, when working, very involved in local, current environmental issues. You do not have to be retired to support or follow our work.
